Minecraft skin maker mineshares skin maker goes public

Mining shard maker Mojang has gone public.

The company was founded by Markus Persson and has raised $6.3 million in funding, according to Bloomberg.

Mojang is looking to build out its mobile app, Mojang Mobile, and is also working on a new subscription service, Mojolicious.

The site now features a splash page of the new company, but a Google search returns the site as Mojang, not Mojang.

Mojoliciously is also still in beta.

Mojave is still one of the most popular Minecraft games.

The game was launched in 2013 and is currently in the top 10 of the overall Minecraft downloads.
